Rich old men in their cricket whites.

With balding heads and fading sights,

Arrogantly putting the world to rights

Rich old men in their city suits

Argue and hard-bargain to win disputes.

against the deaf, the blind, and the mute.

Rich old men in their linen pants

Relying heavily on sycophants

convinced that we should all give thanks.

Rich old men in their Sunday best

Pray in the church like all the rest.

But believing they are divinely blessed

Rich old men in dinner jackets

Avoiding taxes on their huge wage packets.

What kind of world do these men inhabit?
