Oh chunk, ghastly groaning drawn in a pull
Imperceptibly speeding, cruise control on full
Fated to churn, burning down in flame
Sol’s trajectory makes it gravitationally untamed
Pushed into fires of pyres most foul
A journey from Heaven to Hell’s searing bowel
Garrulous gash; a crash never to last
Beyond infinity to finality, an all-consumed flash
Content to relent, flying in past tense
Promethean tail suggests a path whence.
Sustained in flames of downed, renown
Vapoured green halo, crowns and surrounds
Oh, careening! oh screaming! not like this!
Seemingly, dreaming of being cosmically kissed
Outcast elliptical protuberance burning, burning!
NASA uncategorised, no yearning for learning.
Beaming in meaning of streaming that is all
Helios grips hold, plummets to death in freefall
