Our love has a DVT

I thought we would be better, together, forever

yet still, there’s no thrill

We overlooked each other

I thought I’d be a happy chappy, not crappy

as with previous lovers gone before, for sure

I subsequently unhooked myself from others

Yet what is bizarre, we are, not far,

But close at hand, Yet we must disband.

For this love has a deep vein thrombosis

Does our love matter, now in tatters, it staggers

Unsteadily, I’ll readily

extricate myself from this
