Decorations (Acrostic)

Updated: Dec 8, 2023

Draped ceiling garlands in various coloured hues,

Embellished fir with lights of red, green, yellow and blue

Cascading joy, glass baubles reflected a twinkled glow.

Ornate Christmas cheer for a festive Yuletide show.

Radiating warmth to dispel those winter chills

A heath of reddened coals that crackled, adding to the thrill

Transforming our living roomโ€™s usually drab visual sensation

Imagination illuminated at a time of celebration,

On every dining surface, a cornucopias revelation.

Nature's bounty spread before us, our feast, our jubilation

Sad that time diminishes this boy's childhood elation
