Love he, who has wronged me

Many threads coalesce to become this life's tangled weave,

Though reason and mercy are rarely given or received.

Yet to forgive and forget one another's wrongdoing,

Displays compassion of spirit, empathic reviewing.


Patience and tenacity, we view meritorious

Bullying of others is considered inglorious.

We subjugate wrongdoers, rightly, to the rule of law.

Without first understanding the cause, it’s a tragic flaw.


Understanding transgression may include excusing wrong,

Demonstrating love in fullness, showing where love belongs.

Neighbourhood strife, whether international or local,

Endless conflict by rage is morally equivocal.
